An Interval Type-3 Fuzzy–Fractal Approach for Plant Monitoring

In this article, a plant monitoring approach based on hybrid mixture of type-3 fuzzy logic (T3FL) and the fractal dimension (FD) is presented. The main reason for combining to take advantage both their capabilities in solving problem plant. Basically, T3FL helps handling uncertainty variables nonlinear system, while FD capture signal complexity by finding key or hidden patterns data. utilized estimate data process being monitored. We utilize box counting algorithm approximate values FD. A set rules model knowledge. proposed was tested with studied previous works, which solved type-1 type-2 logic, now able surpass performance approaches problem. contribution proposal monitoring, has not been presented before literature. Simulation results illustrate potential utilizing combination area.
